Hi all, apologies for not blogging yesterday I was left with the mundane task that all us parents have to deal with on a regular basis, THE IRONING. This is something I absolutely dread thanks to the fact my children think its ok to change their clothes about five times a day, im sometimes tempted to put locks on their drawers so they cant get in to keep changing.
Im also partly responsible as I dont do my ironing half as much as I should im going to be totally honest and say that sometimes I will skip it a whole week and end up with two weeks worth of ironing which is a death sentence for a family of six. So when I eventually pluck up the courage to pull all of my ironing out of the cupboard I always feel so much more organised. Now I know there will be some people questioning this thinking "well why dont you just make time to do it every week and you will always feel organised." My answer to that is, Im sorry I actually dont have a good answer to that other than I just simply cant be bothered, I cant do it through the daytime as my youngest little munchkin is beyond clingy and cant be left alone at all, and in the evenings im so tired from running around after a 3 year old that as I have said constantly changes her clothes when im not looking and walking around with a 7 month old baby attatched to the boob that as soon as the kiddies are in bed my bottom hits the sofa and does not move unless absolutely necessary. It's actually a running joke between my husband and myself, as whenever I look at new clothes because im sure my children must have outgrown a lot of them and thats why there drawers are empty my husband always mentions the ironing pile, I usually have a good reason for having to buy those four new outfits and then always regret it when it comes to doing the ironing because of course he was right. So the reason for me not posting was I spent 3 hours catching up on my HUGE ironing pile.
